Eighteen of the 20 spots in this week's Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association girls state polls are held by teams that were ranked last week.

The two newcomers are Sugar River (fourth in Division 3) and Racine Prairie School (fifth in Division 4) – both sides earned honorable mention in the previous polls.

The week featured a pair of rematches of WIAA state finals from last spring.

Defending Division 1 champion Milwaukee DSHA topped visiting Schofield D.C. Everest 2-1 on Friday, while Waukesha West knocked off reigning Division 2 state champion Waunakee 3-0 in the final of the Cardinal Classic in Middleton.

The Dashers and Wolverines remained atop their respective divisions in voting done by a statewide panel of coaches, while Waunakee kept the No. 3 spot in Division 2. D.C. Everest slipped one place to third in Division 1 after its first loss of the season.

Hartland Arrowhead moved up one spot to No. 4 in the largest division following a 1-1 draw with Waukesha Catholic Memorial – the result in a Classic 8 Conference opener Tuesday ended a perfect start to the season for the Crusaders, who continue to lead the Division 3 rankings.

The first and fifth sides in the overall state poll stayed the same, with DSHA atop the rankings and Oregon at No. 5. Waukesha West and Kettle Moraine each edged up one place to second and third, respectively, while D.C. Everest fell to fourth.
