Milwaukee Wave teammates Ian Bennett and Victor Quiroz both will be playing in the quarterfinals of the inaugural World Minifootball Federation World Cup.

Bennett had two goals and three assists in pool play as Canada (1-1-1) finished second in Group C. The Canadians beat Serbia 10-6 and tied Russia 6-6 sandwiched around a 7-4 loss to group winner Brazil. They'll face Romania (2-1-0), the Group B runner-up behind Mexico, in a quarterfinal at 8:30 tonight in Tulsa, Oka.

Quiroz and Mexico, meanwhile, will take on El Salvador (1-1-1) at 7 tonight, also in Tulsa. The defender recorded three goals and two assists as the Mexicans (3-0-0) dominated Group B, trouncing Germany 9-1, Romania 7-2 and India 33-0.

The other quarterfinals match Brazil (3-0-0) against the Czech Republic (1-1-1) tonight in Flint, Mich., and the U.S. (3-0-0) against Germany (1-2-0) on Friday night in Tulsa. The semifinals are Saturday and the final is Sunday in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
