Oct. 30, 1999: Tony Sanneh (UW-Milwaukee) scored his first goal for German club Hertha Berlin in a 1-1 draw with host Schalke 04 in a Bundesliga match. Sanneh's goal gave Hertha Berlin the lead after just 3 minutes – it proved to be his only goal in three seasons with the club, though he is well remembered by fans for his assist on Ali Daei's goal in a famous 2-1 victory over Chelsea in a Champions League match in September 1999.
