Sarah Hagen (Appleton North/UW-Milwaukee) has only played in the National Women's Soccer League for three months, but she's already a champion.

Hagen played the final 26 minutes, coming on for Amy Rodriguez after she scored both goals in FC Kansas City's 2-0 victory over the Seattle Reign in Sunday's final watched by 4,252 fans at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, Wash.

Rodriguez scored in the 22nd and 56th minutes, with Lauren Holiday setting up both goals, as second-seeded FC Kansas City won the NWSL's second title.

Hagen signed with FC Kansas City in March and joined the team after completing her contract with German club Bayern Munich. The striker finished with four goals and two assists in 11 matches overall (seven starts).

  • Andrew Stadler (Wauwatosa West) continued his excellent season, scoring his 11th goal of the season to give Landskrona BoIS a 1-1 draw with host IK Sirius FK in Superettan action Saturday. • J.C. Banks (Milwaukee Riverside/UW-Green Bay) played a role in two goals and Tony Walls (Wauwatosa East/UW-Green Bay) added an assist as the Rochester Rhinos thumped the host Harrisburg City Islanders 4-1 in USL PRO play Saturday. Banks' close-range shot in the opening minute deflected off a Harrisburg defender and into the goal for an early 1-0 lead, and Walls set up Alec Sundly's goal off a set piece in the 48th to push the visitors' lead to 2-1. Banks doubled the advantage in the 66th with his ninth goal of the season – tied for eighth in the league – as the Rhinos snapped a five-game winless streak in style. Rochester (9-10-8) moved up to sixth in the standings and can clinch a playoff berth regardless of other results by taking at least one point in Sunday's regular-season finale against the visiting Wilmington Hammerheads.
