July 31, 2010: Amy Vermeulen (UW) gave Vancouver the lead in the second half, but the Buffalo Flash answered with two goals in 3 minutes and went on to a 3-1 victory over the Whitecaps in the United Soccer Leagues W-League final in Santa Clarita, Calif. Vermeulen opened the scoring with her fourth goal of the season in the 57th minute.
