J.C. Banks (Milwaukee Riverside/UW-Green Bay) opened in the scoring in the 21st minute as the host Rochester Rhinos snapped a three-game winless streak with a 3-0 victory over the FC Dallas Reserves in a USL PRO match Friday night.

Banks tracked down the rebound of a shot by teammate Colin Rolfe that was saved by FC Dallas goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez and finished from 8 yards out. It was his sixth goal in 17 appearances for the Rhinos (7-6-6) this season – the fourth-year pro is tied for sixth in the league.

Defender Tony Walls (Wauwatosa East) played the full 90 minutes as Rochester posted its ninth shutout of the season.

  • Andrew Stone (Green Bay Preble/UW-Milwaukee) played the full 90 minutes at right back as Indy Eleven opened the North American Soccer League fall season with a 2-1 victory over the Carolina RailHawks on Saturday night in Cary, N.C. – the first win for the first-year club. Indy Eleven went 0-5-4 during the NASL spring season.
