As grounds crew workers turned the baseball diamond at Miller Park into a soccer field Monday in Milwaukee, Mexican side Club Deportivo Guadalajara and English Premier League club Swansea City announced their rosters for Wednesday night's friendly.

Chivas' team for the match includes defender Carlos Salcido, who made two appearances for Mexico at the recently completed World Cup in Brazil. The 34-year-old started his career at Chivas from 2001 to '06 and recently rejoined the legendary club after stints with Dutch side PSV, Premier League club Fulham and UANL Tigres in Mexico.

The Swansea City roster features the Swans' three main signings this summer: French striker Bafetimbi Gomis, Dutch forward Marvin Emnes and Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski. (Full rosters below)

Organizers announced that more than 30,000 tickets have been sold for the match, which will be the highest-profile soccer game in Wisconsin since East Germany beat the U.S. national team 2-1 in a friendly on July 27, 1990, at the old Milwaukee County Stadium. The attendance for that game was 12,574.

Tickets, priced at $25 to $70, are still available at brewers.com/soccer – Miller Park has a capacity of 42,200. Parking costs $20 in advance, but rises to $25 on Wednesday. Lots will open at 5 p.m. and the stadium gates will open at 6:30 p.m. ahead of the 8 p.m. kickoff.

The Milwaukee Brewers posted a photo of the transformation underway on the field Monday. The soccer field, with one goal near the left field wall and the other near first base, will be 66 yards wide by 107 yards long, according to a Brewers spokesman.
