Tosaint Ricketts (UW-Green Bay) was the hero for Bucaspor on Sunday, as his 79th-minute goal gave the Turkish club a 2-1 victory over visiting Orduspor that ended a six-game losing streak.

It was Ricketts' seventh goal in 25 appearances in the 1. Lig, the country's second division, and his ninth in 28 games overall. Bucaspor improved to 13-18-3 in league play and stands 12th in the 19-team division with two matches remaining.

  • Andrew Stadler (Wauwatosa West) opened his account for Landskrona BoIS, but it wasn't enough for the club to get its first win of the season in Sweden's second-tier Superettan. Stadler scored in the 48th minute Thursday to give 10-man Landskrona the lead, but goals in the 55th and 75th sent visiting Syrianska to a 3-2 victory. Stadler has played every minute so far for Landskrona (0-2-1). On Twitter: @AndrewStadler
  • Charles Kazlauskas (Milwaukee Thomas More) saw his ironman streak come to an end Friday, as he was subbed out after 77 minutes in Helmond Sport's 5-1 rout of visiting Jong Twente. The versatile 31-year-old had played all 3,347 minutes this season for the Dutch second-division club to that point, a span of 36 league matches and one Cup game. He was back in full action Monday, playing all 90 minutes and nearly scoring the equalizer in the 26th on a header that hit the post. However, a 4-0 loss to Jong Ajax – the reserve team of Eredivisie club AFC Ajax – eliminated Helmond Sport from contention for a berth in the promotion playoffs. They'll close out the season Friday.
  • JC Banks (Milwaukee Riverside/UW-Green Bay) and Tony Walls (Wauwatosa East/UW-Green Bay) helped USL PRO club Rochester Rhinos grab their first win of the season, a 2-0 victory over the Chicago Fire Reserves on Monday afternoon at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill. Banks had two good chances saved by Fire keeper Alec Kann before scoring his second goal of the season in the 81st to seal the win. Walls filled in at center back – regular starter Patrick Slogic was sidelined with a knee injury – and played the full 90 against his former team as the Rhinos posted the clean sheet in his first start. • Calum Mallace (Marquette) earned his first Major League Soccer start in 18 months Saturday, playing the full 90 minutes as the Montreal Impact lost to host Sporting Kansas City 4-0. Mallace, in his first MLS start since Oct. 27, 2012, was credited with an own goal in the 31st minute – he went up and tried to clear a long throw-in, but instead ended up heading it past keeper Troy Perkins for Sporting's first goal. • Sarah Hagen (Appleton North/UW-Milwaukee) missed Bayern Munich's 1-1 draw against 1. FFC Frankfurt on Monday because of a broken hand suffered in training last week. Hagen, tied for fourth in the Frauen-Bundesliga with nine goals in 14 appearances, had surgery Tuesday – in an Instagram post with images of her x-ray and hand post-surgery, she wrote that she hoped to be back in a few weeks. • Michelle Dalton (UW) posted the shutout as Kvarnsvedens IK blanked host IF Brommapojkarna 2-0 in an Elitettan match Friday in Sweden. Kvarnsvedens has won both of its matches in the second-tier league, allowing just one goal in the process.
