Six teams finished off perfect runs through the Wisconsin State Championships by winning titles Sunday.

The SC Waukesha Under-17 boys and Under-13 girls and the Under-14 and Under-16 boys sides from Kenosha's United FC joined the Madison 56ers Under-18 boys and the North Shore United Under-15 boys with victories in the finals held at the USA Youth Soccer Complex in Appleton.

Those teams each won all five games in the tournament run by the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association, three in group play last weekend and then semifinals and finals this weekend.

SC Waukesha led the way with three spring state champions, with the club's Under-14 girls also winning its division – all three teams posted shutouts on Sunday.

United FC was the only other club with more than one state champion and will have three teams at the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Championships from June 22 to 26 in Des Moines, Iowa, with the two boys sides that won Sunday joining the Under-16 girls team that won its bracket last fall.

Six of the nine finals on the weekend were shutouts, and two extended beyond regulation: SC Waukesha topped the Milwaukee Bavarians 2-1 in Under-17 play, and United FC outlasted Brookfield Red by the same score in the Under-16 boys final – the last match of the weekend.

While most of the state finalists came from long-established clubs, the Under-13 boys title went to ACE Milwaukee, a club that was formed just four years ago. They beat Middleton's Rush Wisconsin Nike 3-2 in the final.
