NCAABrittany Walder (Waukesha West) turned in another impressive performance, but it wasn't enough to extend UW-Oshkosh's season.

The senior goalkeeper made 10 saves as the Titans lost to No. 12 Washington-St. Louis 2-0 in a second-round match of the NCAA Division III women's soccer tournament Sunday night in St. Louis.

The Bears (17-4-0) had a commanding 25-3 advantage in shots, including a 12-2 margin in shots on goal, and got goals from Anna Zambricki in the 14th minute and Lillie Toaspern in the 59th to eliminate Oshkosh (12-7-4) from its second NCAA appearance.

Walder made four saves for the shutout, then saved four straight penalty kicks in a shootout as the Titans beat Ohio Wesleyan 2-1 following a 0-0 draw in the first round Saturday.

Junior forward Ashley Botts (Beloit) scored her 18th goal of the season in the 25th minute, then set up the other two goals as top-ranked and two-time defending national champion Grand Valley State beat visiting UW-Parkside 3-1 in a second-round match in Allendale, Mich.

The Lakers (19-0-2) led throughout in their 19th consecutive game, but the Rangers (13-4-2) made things interesting late.

Grand Valley State's Kayla Kimble was red carded for a foul on junior midfielder Megan Owens in the box in the 75th and senior midfielder Kristen Benson made the ensuing penalty kick, with her fifth goal of the season pulling Parkside within 2-1. It was the first goal conceded by the Lakers since Sept. 30, a span of 11 games and 1,025 minutes.

Senior forward Shannon Becker (De Pere) had a shot saved by Grand Valley State's Chelsea Parise off a free kick in the 82nd, and the Lakers sealed the win in the 88th when Kayla Addison scored her second goal of the day and 14th of the season off a pass from Botts, her ninth assist of the year.

Senior keeper Cassie Glodowski (Waupaca) made six saves as the Rangers, making their fifth NCAA appearance, had their season ended by Grand Valley for the second straight year. Parkside was outshot 20-7, but put five of its shots on frame.
