Dallas Cup XXXIIFC Milwaukee's Under-14 team is headed to the Dallas Cup, one of the nation's most prestigious boys soccer tournaments.

The Nationals take on Milan FC Rossoneri from Hilmar, Calif., in its Bracket G opener on Sunday, then face Lonestars Pre-USSF Academy from Austin, Texas, on Monday and Mana from Monterrey, Mexico, on Wednesday at the 32nd annual tournament.

Three more Wisconsin players are on teams in the Under-17 competition: Goalkeeper Dary Dewalt (Greendale), forward Austin Geisler (Racine) and defender-midfielder Blake Jones (Green Bay) play for Shattuck-St. Mary's (Minn.).

The 180-team tournament includes teams from 18 countries, and the Gordon Jago Super Group features teams from some of the world's top clubs – Spain's FC Barcelona, England's Arsenal and Brazil's Corinthians.

One of the 16 teams in the Super Group is Real Salt Lake-Arizona, which has three players who have committed to play college soccer in Wisconsin: defender Julio Alarcon and midfielder-forward Ricardo Velasco are UW-Milwaukee recruits, while goalkeeper Eduardo "Lalo" Fernandez signed with the University of Wisconsin.

This story has been edited. The earlier version incorrectly stated that midfielder Louis Bennett (Shorewood) plays for the Chicago Fire Juniors Development Academy team. Bennett plays for the Fire's Development Academy team.
