 The schedules are set for Madison United's 19th annual President's Cup indoor soccer tournament, which will feature a record 88 teams playing Feb. 18 and 19 at Keva Sports Center in Middleton and BreakAway Sports Center in Madison. The tournament kicks off at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at BreakAway, and the final games of the opening day will kick off 12 hours later over at Keva. Sunday's action begins at 8 a.m. at both locations, and the finals are scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. at Keva.
In a change from recent years, only two of the four championship games are scheduled at the same time – the Women's Open finalists will play on Field 1 at 6 p.m., the same time as the Men's Over-38 final on Field 2. The Men's Over-30 title match follows at 6:30 p.m. on Field 2, with the Men's Open final closing out the tournament at 7 p.m. The scheduling change is due to the Men's Over-30 field expanding from 16 to 20 teams, leading to more group games and the addition of wild card playoff matches in that division. Most teams will play two group games on Saturday and one Sunday; however, the four teams in the Martha Pool in Women's Open play and four Men's Open teams (two from the Jackson Pool and two from the Washington Pool) will play all three of their group matches Saturday.
