Wisconsin Adult Soccer AssociationIt looks like it will go down to the wire as four teams are battling for the final three playoff spots in the Wisconsin Adult Soccer Association Major League.

Reigning champion Croatian Eagles (13-1-1) are the only team to have clinched a berth in the four-team postseason tournament, which kicks off with semifinals on July 17. The championship is scheduled for July 31.

However, three of the four sides still in the running for the other three spots have at least one postponed match to make up in the next week in addition to Sunday's final round of regularly scheduled games.

Bavarian SC (10-3-3) came up with a big victory in a makeup match Thursday night, thumping the Milwaukee Kickers 4-1 to get to 33 points and move into a tie for second place with the Kickers (11-6-0), who have only Sunday's game against United Serbians (10-3-2) left on their schedule.

United Serbians are tied with Milwaukee Sport Club (10-4-2) for fourth place with 32 points, and have two more matches to play after facing the Kickers: at home against Madison United on Wednesday night and away to the Croatian Eagles – that game hasn't been rescheduled yet, according to the WASA website.

The Bavarians, unbeaten in their past five games (4-0-1), play host to Croatians on Sunday and close the season Wednesday night at Sport Club in match that figures to have playoff implications.
