Wisconsin Adult Soccer AssociationThe Croatian Eagles dominated the fall portion of the Wisconsin Adult Soccer Association Major League season, winning eight of nine matches.

They open the spring part of the schedule Sunday afternoon against the only team they didn't defeat.

Club Latino, which played the Eagles to a 0-0 draw back on Sept. 19, travels to Croatian Park in Franklin as the state's top men's amateur league resumes its 2010-11 season. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.

The Croatian Eagles (8-0-1) outscored opponents 41-3 in the fall and hold a six-point lead over second-place United Serbians (6-2-1) heading into the spring. The Eagles are unbeaten in their past 16 matches against Major League foes (15-0-1), scoring 69 goals and allowing just eight in that span.

The round-robin spring schedule runs through July 10, with the top four teams earning spots in the playoffs. The Milwaukee Kickers, last season's runners-up, stand third at 6-3-0 with perennial power Bavarian SC fourth at 5-2-2.

The rest of Sunday's slate: USA Palermo at Madison United, Milwaukee Serbians at Milwaukee Kickers, Milwaukee Brewers FC at United Serbians and Bavarian SC at Milwaukee Sport Club. All matches start at 3 p.m.
